Today we discussed possible ideas for the script and what the characters in the trailer could say.

Protagonist in the 6th shot, will have a voice over.

Possible things she could say:

"Day 526. Got up. Got food, but its getting more difficult now. Then I went for a walk, it was pretty quite. I sat and read (Insert book title).

Research and Planning: Filming in public

Our group was unsure whether we would be able to film in public without permission, so we decided to look on the Manchester City Council. We found this page which includes an email address of the relevant people to contact. We plan to send an email to this address asking permission.

Research and Planning: Weather forecast

We plan to film in Manchester City Centre on the Thursday 5th of December. This shot will be the first shot of the trailer. I have looked at several different sites to see what the weather forecast is for this day.

Research and Planning: Group meeting

Today our group discussed possible days that we could film our trailer to fit around college and work schedules. We decided that we could film on; Wednesday 9-10:30 and 12:15-3, Thursday after 12:15, Friday 10:30-1:15. We however are still unsure whether we can film on a Saturday or Sunday due to one of the group members work.

We also discussed possible actors who could play the role of the protagonist. We will now audition the actors to see who would be more suitable for the role of the protagonist.

Today our group had a group meeting to discuss ideas for our script. We have previously decided to use a voice over in our trailer as well as sound effects. We watched different trailers on youtube to help us with our ideas.

I like the 'I Am Legend' trailer as it uses a voice over throughout the trailer, we used this trailer to help us with our ideas of what our protagonist could say.
