Research and Planning: Regulations and Censorship

In our group we have discussed what certificate our film and trailer would be, we have decide that our film will be an 18. We looked at other films from the zombie/ horror genre and the majority was 18 as they include violence and disturbing images. 

We have decided the trailer will be a 12A, the reason we decided to on a 12A certificate is because the trailer is likely to be seen by a younger audience as trailers that are rated 15 or 18 are still shown on pre-watershed time slots on TV. The trailer will also not want to show a lot of the storyline and "gory"scenes as it would ruin the suspense in the film.
