Today we filmed around college such as the library and the toilets and also in Hyde with our protagonist. We tried to use a variety of different shots to see which would be more effective.

Research and Planning: Characters names

I have looked at the most popular names for girls and boys to help us think of a name for our characters.We want a strong female name for the protagonist to reflect her personality, we picked several names and put them in a box and asked our teacher to randomly pick one of the names, the name we have chosen is Alice. Likewise we wanted a strong male name for the father figure so we have chosen William as the name has the meaning of protector. For the boys name who is the damsel in distress we have chosen Liam.

Research and Planning: Weather Forecast

We plan to film next Monday, so I have looked at the weather for this day to see if it is suitable for us to film.

Research and Planning: Filming reschedule

Due to the bad weather today we were unable to film as we planned to film the first shot outside. Our group have planned to reschedule this filming for next week.

We Plan to film on Monday the 9th of December.

Today our group chose the actors to play the main characters in the trailer. We have chosen Gemma Davis for the role of the protagonist, as she lives locally and is availbale for the dates that we plan to film.

Today I started to create my magazine. I used dafont.com to look for different fonts for my magazine, I have yet to still decided on a font for my masthead.

Here is the audition for the actor who we have chosen to play the role of the protagonist.

• Can cope with action shots, such as running
• Interested in playing Alice because she has read the script and thinks Alice is an interesting character
• Available to film; Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

As a group we have decided that Gemma is suitable for the role of Alice.

Today we discussed possible ideas for the script and what the characters in the trailer could say.

Protagonist in the 6th shot, will have a voice over.

Possible things she could say:

"Day 526. Got up. Got food, but its getting more difficult now. Then I went for a walk, it was pretty quite. I sat and read (Insert book title).
